Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic Data Steward for the Resources Business Group. The role focuses on defining, sharing, and reusing data across HDR’s business classes and practices, reporting to the Resources Technology Director with cross‑functional support from HDR Data Operations.

The ideal candidate will lead governance, promote data fluency, and enable better, faster decisions through standardized data definitions and practices across HDR’s global projects and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading data-focused initiatives and teams.
• Experience shaping data definitions, standards, and reuse across business groups.
• Ability to collaborate with executives and engineering teams to drive data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and usage.
