Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic-minded Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how our data is defined, shared, and used across all Business Classes and Practices. The role drives data simplification, usefulness, and connectivity across HDR’s operations today and into the future.

You will report to the Resources Business Group Technology Director with collaboration across HDR Data Operations and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of strategic leadership experience.
• 15+ years of data-focused solutions experience.
• Experience within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RBG data point of contact and SME.
• Develop data glossaries for key terms with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and usage.
• Promote consistent, responsible use of technical data, including access and quality.
• Govern externally sourced datasets: access, approvals, inventory, lifecycle.
• Lead a RBG SME network to align practices and share lessons learned.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG and teams.
• Collaborate with BG Data Stewards and Enterprise Data Teams.
