Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how our data is defined, shared, and reused across the Business Group and HDR. This leadership role focuses on making data simpler, more useful, and more connected to how we work today and in the future.

You will partner with HDR Data Operations and multiple teams to drive governance, definitions, and reuse, reducing rework and enabling faster, trusted analytics and decision making across projects and regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing and leading teams in change management and business data.
• 15+ years of experience providing data‑focused solutions and services to an organization and the industry.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction industries.

Responsibilities

• Work as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise from our Business Classes and Practices.
• Develop and maintain data glossary(es) for key engineering and technical terms with business context.
• Use your technical network to build alignment around data processes and use.
• Promote consistent, responsible use of technical data, including access, data quality, and reuse.
• Support governance of externally sourced datasets (access, approvals, inventory awareness, storage, lifecycle).
• Lead a RBG SME network to align practices and share lessons learned across business classes and practices.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG and collaborate with other teams.
