Job summary

FastTek Global in Michigan is seeking a Planner and Scheduler to develop and optimize system work plans, providing tracking metrics and data for management. You will lead resource utilization decisions for Operations and coordinate planning across departments.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining detailed work plans, aligning internal and external resources, delivering on customer commitments, and producing reports to support on-time delivery and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in related field.
• 2–4 years of planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience using metrics to drive decisions and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize system work plans and provide tracking metrics for management.
• Provide leadership and resource utilization recommendations for Operations.
• Facilitate planning and processes involving input from multiple departments.
• Lead hand-off to resource scheduling and participate in weekly meetings.
• Develop and maintain reporting to provide visibility to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain workplans to meet commitments and budgets.
• Align internal and external resources to meet prioritized workload.
• Create, provide and communicate timely, accurate work plans.
• Use history and trend data to meet forecast targets.
• Build O&M workplans to reduce O&M costs.
• Meet with resource scheduling weekly and track hours.
• Maintain monthly and YTD forecast of O&M labor hours.
