Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Resource Manager to lead strategic staffing for a large National Intelligence program. You will collaborate with the PMO, Solution Architect, and Scrum Masters to ensure staffing aligns with contracts and funding while managing capacity for a multi-disciplinary team including developers, testers, ISSEs, DBAs, and systems engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in information technology, or information management, or eight years of comparable work experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• 5+ years of experience in a fast‑paced Agile development environment.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams with demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement significant strategic initiatives.
• Experience deploying enterprise‑wide reporting tools and visualizations
• Experience coordinating schedules, workflows, and cross‑team planning
• Skilled in backlog management and documentation
• Skills and Abilities: Agile Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies
• Conflict Resolution & Negotiation

Responsibilities

• Oversee capacity planning and staffing for six task orders with diverse roles and clearances.
• Partner with PMO leaders to align staffing with contract baselines and funding.
• Maintain accurate capacity profiles and adjust staffing to meet sprint plans.
• Build and maintain annual training plans with L&D and matrix teams.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition for onboarding, offboarding, and backfills.
• Own master MVI scheduling across all task orders and align with releases.
• Forecast surge needs and reallocate developers without impacting critical work.
• Produce staffing and capacity reports for PMO leadership, including gaps and risks.
