Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Sr. Operations Specialist to independently lead programs that drive efficiency, safety, productivity and cost reduction.

You will partner across research operations, clinical programs, investigators, innovation, finance, legal, compliance, IT and data to advance strategic initiatives and growth. You will guide complex, enterprise-level projects, develop program plans, ensure documentation and reporting, and lead process improvements while aligning with regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in healthcare administration or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 5 years of relevant leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and a large organization comparable to Spectrum Health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for new and existing programs and projects. Ensure documentation, reporting, data collection and database utilization are performed accurately and timely.
• Collect and analyze process, productivity, value and quality data to drive efficiency, safety, productivity and cost reductions.
• Direct, organize and engage in process and quality improvement initiatives; document new workflows.
• Serve as operational lead for workflow transformation and other operational initiatives; develop action and project plans.
• Lead compliance activities across the organization to ensure services meet state/federal regulations and policies.
• May work on initiatives spanning multiple service lines.
• May serve as interim leadership.
