Job summary

The University of Chicago URA Provost Research Administration seeks a mid-level Research Compliance Officer - Conflict of Interest to administer COI/COC programs. Ability to review disclosures, identify conflicts, and advise on management plans.
Experience working with research governance, IRB considerations, and sponsor requirements.

Responsibilities

Review annual and research-specific COI disclosures to identify conflicts.
Develop and monitor COI management plans for identified conflicts.
Provide guidance on disclosure requirements and policy interpretation to researchers.
Prepare and distribute COI/COC related reports to unit leadership.
Draft letters confirming disclosure acknowledgments and maintain records of reviews.
Coordinate with investigators and administrators to ensure timely action on COI-related tasks.
Support COI training and education initiatives for faculty and staff.
Engage with cross-functional teams to align review processes across departments.
