Qualifications

• Advanced degree and/or professional certification in research compliance or research administration.
• Experience administering COI/COC program at a research university or academic medical center.
• Knowledge of PHS/NIH financial COI regulations and NSF sponsor COI requirements.
• Experience with faculty outside-activity and consulting approvals.
• Experience with institutional COI as distinct from individual COI.
• Familiarity with organizational COI requirements.
• Experience assessing complex outside activities and related engagements.
• Experience drafting and monitoring management plans and policies.
• Experience with electronic disclosure systems and IT collaboration.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for high‑volume cycles.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in service design, instructional design, and training development.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day COI/COC program operations.
• Review and resolve disclosures; escalate complex matters.
• Coordinate with faculty, research admins, and central offices.
• Ensure disclosures comply with regulations and policy.
• Prepare agendas, materials, and minutes for committee reviews.
• Draft determination memoranda and management plans; monitor through recertification and close-out.
• Prepare reports for sponsors and leadership.
• Develop education and outreach; collaborate with IT on disclosure system improvements.
• Represent the program to stakeholders and peer institutions.
• Maintain knowledge across related compliance areas.
