Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of research experience in marketing, communications, consumer insights, strategy, or related field.
  • Degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline strongly preferred.
  • Experience synthesizing data and insights to write concise, engaging notes for business audiences.
  • Ability to translate data/insights into visuals; strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Qualtrics or similar survey platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies important topics for research in collaboration with leadership and researchers to serve members.
  • (Co-)writes short publications and notes for member newsletters, summaries of roundtables, and conferences.
  • Presents research findings to senior executives in person, and at virtual events.
  • Designs research projects, including methodology, surveys, interview guides, and timelines.
  • Manages research logistics: respondent lists, data entry, surveys, mailings, and publication planning.
  • (Co) conducts interviews with senior marketing and communications executives.
  • Analyzes data from surveys and sources, extracts key insights, and highlights implications for executives.
  • Creates charts and infographics from Excel data for presentations and publications.
  • Writes research reports, PowerPoint presentations, and articles for media.
  • Collaborates with editorial, publication, and communications teams; participates in events and content development.
  • Leverages AI tools to improve research efficiency while keeping content human-led.
