Job summary

Emergent Holdings is seeking a renewal underwriting professional to expedite agent issues by analyzing internal business factors and delivering immediate solutions. You will mentor Renewal Specialists and provide guidance on complex policy information while ensuring compliance with bureau rules.

The role involves collaborating with state rating bureaus, service centers, and underwriting teams to maintain profitable renewals and strong agent partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance or related field; progress towards/completion of IIA or other designation.
• Two years of renewal experience with Accident Fund Insurance Company of America or similar.
• Four years of experience servicing agencies and policy holders with rules, procedures and audit information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze agent issues and provide immediate solutions by following internal processes.
• Mentor Renewal Specialists and CSRs to deliver high-touch service and maintain agent loyalty.
• Review and adjust policy structures to stay compliant with bureau rules and regulations.
• Prepare renewals using underwriting guidelines within authority and determine eligibility.
• Communicate complex policy inquiries and rating algorithms to agents and policyholders.
