Job summary

PowerFlex is seeking a Business Development Analyst in New York to support origination efforts through research, analysis, and deal support across solar, storage, and EV charging projects. You will collaborate with senior professionals to strengthen deal development and provide market guidance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or pursuing with a 2026 graduation), with financial modeling experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, or currently pursuing with a 2026 graduation date
• Experience with financial modeling is preferred but not required
• Experience within the renewable energy industry is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Utility tariff and bill analysis
• State/utility incentive and policy research
• Financial modeling
• Presentation preparation
• Market strategy guidance
• RFP response preparation
• Detailed prospect and Portfolio Account research
• Maintaining accuracy of CRM data integrity
• Solar/storage/EV charging design coordination
• Industry advocacy group tracking and participation (i.e. CALSEIA, MSSIA, etc.)
• Analysis tools creation/updating
