Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a disciplined attorney for its US Regulatory & Global Investigations Legal Team to advise on mobility and delivery operations across the United States.

The role involves navigating complex regulatory and government inquiry landscapes to support scale and compliance in a fast-paced tech environment. You will engage with regulators, draft responses, and craft strategy with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of regulatory, white collar, or litigation experience in private practice, in-house, and/or government.
• Licensed to practice law in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Advocate & Engage with local and state agencies through regulatory proceedings, public filings, workshops, and regulator meetings.
• Manage inquiries and investigations; draft external replies and lead internal reviews in response to regulatory data requests.
• Perform legislative analysis, draft and negotiate legislation affecting Uber's rides and delivery operations in the U.S.
• Provide high-impact counsel to business stakeholders on high-profile matters and product launches.
• Drive cross-functional legal strategies with Operations, Policy, Safety, Product, and Insurance teams.
