Job summary

Uber’s US Regulatory Legal Team seeks exceptional attorneys to advise on mobility and delivery operations in the U.S. This role offers hands-on work with business clients and opportunities to shape regulatory strategy across the Northeast.

Responsibilities include engaging with agencies, handling inquiries, drafting legislation, and coordinating with cross‑functional partners to resolve complex regulatory challenges while supporting rapid product launches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of regulatory, white collar, or litigation experience in private practice, in‑house, and/or government.
• Licensed to practice law in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Advocate & Engage: tackle novel legal issues before local and state agencies, including regulator meetings and public filings.
• Manage Inquiries & Investigations: formulate external replies and lead internal reviews or investigations.
• Legislative Analysis & Drafting: analyze, draft, and negotiate legislation affecting Uber's rides and delivery operations.
• Provide High‑Impact Counsel: advise business stakeholders on high‑impact matters and product launches in fast-paced settings.
• Cross‑Functional Strategy: drive legal strategies with Operations, Policy, Safety, Product, and Insurance teams.
• Protect and Enable the Business: coordinate regulatory and litigation strategies on bet‑the‑company issues.
