Job summary

Molex in Lincoln, NE seeks a Regional Category Manager for Transportation Solutions to lead TSBU portfolio, develop regional strategies, and align with global plans while supporting FTZ-enabled logistics.

You will collaborate with customers, OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, finance, manufacturing, trade compliance, and sales to deliver cost-effective, supply-resilient solutions that optimize total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing.
Experience with SAP/SAP Ariba and spend analytics.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional category strategies aligned to global sourcing plans.
Own category commercial performance including cost of goods and supplier savings.
Identify process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with engineering and quality on specifications and supplier actions.
Drive TCO improvements through cost-down roadmaps and supplier development.
Monitor supply risk and implement mitigation plans.
Prepare category performance reporting for leadership.
Coordinate FTZ-related sourcing and logistics for Lincoln site.
Ensure compliance with HTS, Incoterms, and customs documentation.
Track savings opportunities related to FTZ activity.
