Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 level.
• Experience researching and applying staffing principles, concepts, and regulations to prepare recommendations for management.
• Developing training materials and provide technical guidance to address deficiencies on recruitment and placement processes.
• Developing, reviewing, and implementing standard operating procedures.
• Analyzing work deficiencies and quality trends to identify knowledge/skill gaps and make recommendations for improvements to supervisors.
• Using tact, diplomacy, and patience when communicating and dealing with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, instruction, or assistance to a team of specialists performing recruitment activities.
• Lead recruitment planning and applicant screening.
• Navigate agency policies and procedures.
• Utilize recruitment systems and resources.
• Provide quality work reviews, feedback, and guidance to staff to correct skill deficiencies.
