Job summary

Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) is seeking a Receiving Planner at its Sugar Land, Texas campus. The role coordinates inbound and outbound material movements, including VMI hubs, suppliers, and customers, and manages SAP records to ensure on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.

You will work with internal and external partners while ensuring compliance with SOX controls and export regulations. Proactive problem-solving and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail; proactive communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound material movements across onsite and offsite locations.
• Manage shipping documents, PO receiving, drop-ship transactions, and SAP records.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and applicable export regulations.
