Job summary

Cook County is seeking a strategic executive to lead policy design, planning, and operational execution for the Cook County Land Bank Authority. The role oversees administration, personnel, procurement, and IT, driving budget analysis and cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership.

The position directs asset acquisition and disposition initiatives, manages day-to-day operations, and leads critical meetings and reviews to advance countywide policy and program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with 6 years of related experience.
• 4 years of supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, preparation, and execution of policies and strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency.
• Design and execute the property acquisition strategy for the Cook County Land Bank Authority (CCLBA).
• Manage and direct administration, personnel, procurement, and information technology units; oversee budgets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze the annual budget and personnel matters.
• Provide strategic leadership; oversee asset acquisition and disposition initiatives.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including disposition reviews, land transactions, and related meetings.
