  • Negotiation and persuasion skills required for land transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiates land-based transactions and develops related strategy.
  • Evaluates acquisitions and divestitures to meet company goals.
  • Supervises land due diligence and manages contractor files.
  • Develops policies for right of way acquisitions and disposals.
  • Represents the company to landowners and regulators; may testify.
  • Coordinates drafting of land-related documents and approvals.
  • Supports permitting, ensuring regulatory and corporate approvals.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
