Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced Director of Real Estate Development & Construction for a local company. This role leads development from concept through completion, identifying opportunities and managing predevelopment, due diligence, and financing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, and 7+ years in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, or related areas, with strong

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in related fields.
Experience sourcing and advancing real estate opportunities.
Strong financial analysis, underwriting, and project evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new real estate development and investment opportunities.
Build relationships with property owners, brokers, municipalities, investors, business leaders, and community partners.
Evaluate project feasibility, including financial analysis, market conditions, due diligence, and development costs.
Lead predevelopment activities, including site evaluation, zoning, entitlements, financing, and project planning.
Prepare financial models and investment recommendations for company leadership.
Negotiate transactions and coordinate with internal and external project partners.
Work closely with leadership and construction teams throughout the development process.
Help identify and pursue opportunities that support the company’s continued growth.
