Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a Real Estate Development Associate to join a team focused on development activities across our geographic regions. The role emphasizes site selection, feasibility studies, and timely approvals to advance affordable housing projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have some real estate development exposure, with strong communication, analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to travel to project sites and planning departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in development, City and Regional/Urban Planning, Public Administration, Finance or Business Development.
Experience with some components of real estate development.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in the development process including site selection, feasibility, application prep, scoring, public approvals.
Understand project timelines and assist Development Manager with schedule adherence.
Assist with due diligence and closing activities on projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
