Job summary

Sixth Street's U.S. Real Estate Asset Management team seeks an associate to specialize in U.S. Real Estate, reporting to the Head of Asset Management for U.S. Real Estate, and collaborating with team members on portfolio asset management.

The role is full-time and based in Dallas, San Francisco or New York City, with responsibilities spanning asset plans, performance monitoring, partner coordination, ad hoc analyses, and supporting quarterly valuations and portfolio reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and modeling skills within real estate.
• Proficiency with Excel and Argus for asset management analytics.
• Experience originating/investing in and/or asset managing CRE assets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and own asset/position plans, markets and business plans for each investment.
• Monitor positions, review borrower/partner reporting, flag key issues.
• Be the main contact for operating partners and service providers in day-to-day asset management.
• Participate in standing calls with partners/ borrowers and support ad hoc analyses.
• Drive internal processes: cash management, distributions, contributions, draw review.
• Support quarterly valuation and portfolio review processes.
