Job summary

Sixth Street is seeking a full-time associate in U.S. Real Estate Asset Management, based in Dallas, San Francisco, or New York City. You will specialize in U.S.

Real Estate, report to the Head of Asset Management, and collaborate with the team on asset management of the portfolio. Responsibilities include owning asset plans, monitoring positions, coordinating with operating partners, and performing ad hoc analyses for key decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience originating/investing in and/or asset managing commercial real estate equity (and/or credit) positions across a variety of asset classes.
• Strong finance and modeling skills with real estate focus.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Argus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and take ownership of assets, markets and business plans for each investment.
• Monitor positions, review borrower/partner reporting and flag key issues.
• Be the primary contact for operating partners/borrowers/service providers on day-to-day asset management.
• Participate in standing calls with partners/borrowers for investments/positions.
• Perform ad hoc analyses for asset management decisions (approvals, leasing, capex).
• Drive internal processes for cash management, distributions, contributions, and draw reviews.
