Mission Driven Search in West Los Angeles seeks a Senior Principal Engineer to lead R&D programs, set system design, schedules and testing across software, FPGA, and hardware. You will engage with government and industry and guide a senior team in technology strategy. Requires MS/PhD and 10 years in wireless development.

You will drive business development, draft proposals, and collaborate with the senior R&D team on large projects, shaping the portfolio and roadmap.

Qualificações

• MS or PhD in a relevant technology field (wireless, signal processing, etc.).
• 10 years of experience in the design and development of wireless systems.
• 5 years of experience in technical project leadership (principal investigator).
• Participation in the complete technology development cycle from design to field testing.

Responsabilidades

• Technical management of R&D projects and programs, including system design and requirement specification.
• Setting and tracking development schedules and tasks.
• Overseeing paper design, simulation, software, FPGA, and testing efforts.
• Customer-facing engagement and preparation of technical material when needed.
• Reporting to management for strategic planning and assessment.
• Participate in R&D business development and capture efforts, including whitepapers and proposals.
• Collaborate with the senior R&D team on executing large, cross-team projects.
• Define a comprehensive team-wide technology portfolio and pipeline.
