Job summary

Intervala, LLC is seeking a Strategic Quoting Specialist for our Mount Pleasant, PA site. The role focuses on prepping and tracking material quotes, reviewing BOMs, and coordinating with suppliers to optimize cost and supply timing.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternate components for obsolescence or long lead items. A combination of education and hands-on purchasing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of experience preferred, or Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience purchasing electronic components, PCBAs, and mechanical assembly materials.
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs and mechanical drawings.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, send, and track material quote requests to meet deadlines.
• Review BOMs to determine inventory availability or new sourcing needs.
• Work directly with suppliers to obtain and clarify quotes.
• Analyze pricing, compare supplier quotes, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track and expedite outstanding or delayed quotations.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Engineering teams on supplier and cost strategies.
• Identify alternate components for obsolete or long lead-time parts.
