Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA, is hiring a Strategic Quoting Specialist to manage end-to-end material quoting in an EMS environment. You will analyze BOMs, obtain supplier quotes, and ensure timely, competitive quotes.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Engineering, review pricing, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support new and existing business.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret BOMs and mechanical drawings.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, send, and track material quote requests to meet deadlines.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine inventory availability or new sourcing needs.
• Work directly with suppliers to obtain and clarify quotes.
• Analyze pricing, compare supplier quotes, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track and expedite outstanding or delayed quotations.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Engineering teams on supplier and cost strategies.
• Identify alternate components for obsolete or long lead-time parts.
