Job summary

Foundation Building Materials is seeking a Quoting Coordinator to manage day-to-day pricing and quotes across branches and regions. You will collaborate with Outside Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and vendors to deliver accurate, timely price quotes aligned with strategy.

You will lead bid reviews, vendor pricing requests, CRM maintenance, and project setup after award, requiring sharp attention to detail and independent judgment within policy.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in sales support, quoting, pricing coordination, estimating, or a related role within construction materials, distribution, or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of pricing fundamentals, margin considerations, and project-based sales support.
• Analytical ability to analyze costs, pricing structures, and market conditions to support bids.
• Experience with CRM platforms, pricing systems, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel proficiency preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple quotes, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain pricing rationale.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming pricing requests and bid opportunities with Outside Sales Representatives.
• Prepare and submit price quotes aligned with scope, market conditions, and margins.
• Manage revisions and re-quotes as projects change.
• Provide pricing feedback to sales leadership based on vendor input and market dynamics.
• Evaluate pricing structures and availability to support bid strategy and execution.
• Coordinate RFQs with vendors and FBM supply chain teams.
• Create and maintain opportunities, quotes, and records in CRM systems.
