Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks a Director of Quality to lead the quality program across our manufacturing and construction projects.

You will drive accountability, align operations and executive leadership, and promote excellence throughout the organization. This strategic role focuses on establishing standards, guiding audits, improving processes, mentoring the quality team, and partnering with project teams to meet customer requirements and codes in a fast-paced Southeast

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading quality programs in construction, industrial, or heavy projects.
• 10+ years leading quality teams and defining quality strategy.
• Extensive QA/QC, auditing, CAPA and continuous improvement know-how.
• Experience with customer, regulatory and third-party compliance requirements.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence leaders.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• ISO 9001 implementation or auditing experience preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence familiarity preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale industrial or construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen quality standards across business units and sites.
• Establish quality standards and drive consistent execution across the org.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards and codes.
• Partner with operations and leadership to improve quality performance.
• Lead audit activities and oversee corrective actions.
• Monitor quality metrics and drive improvements based on data.
• Support client relationships by ensuring quality expectations are met.
• Develop and mentor quality team members and capabilities.
• Manage departmental goals, resources, and budgets.
• Support company values and strategic objectives.
