Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to operate from our Hoschton, GA office. The role requires 5–10 years of project management experience in a self-performing contractor environment, with preference for heavy industrial construction; travel will be required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of PM experience in a self-performing contractor environment.
• Experience in heavy industrial construction or GC/CM industrial markets.
• Willingness to travel.
• Basic knowledge of estimating processes.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and adheres to our Mission First, People Always culture.
• Collaborates with client, PMs and supervision to plan, develop and oversee site projects.
• Manages all cost aspects: estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Applies scheduling, bids, takeoffs, change orders and contracts to scope changes.
• Develops relationships to identify opportunities and secures new work.
• Plans resources to meet project demands and coordinates assignments.
• Updates drawings, specs, calculations and charts; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Ensures equipment, tools and staff comply with SIC policies and regulations.
• Oversees SIC safety program and champions Safety First.
• Provides regular project status updates to Senior Management.
• Travels to jobsites regularly to oversee projects.
