Job summary

Pima County’s Sheriff’s Department is seeking a Purchasing and Warehouse Supervisor to organize and supervise purchasing, warehousing and related services for the department. You will oversee requisitions, bid processes, stock levels and inventory records, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and procedures.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in purchasing or related field or equivalent experience, and a minimum of three years in purchasing/warehousing with supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or three years with Pima County in Buyer series with warehousing supervisory experience.
• Experience with procurement processes and supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase, requisition, receipt, storage, issuance and disposal of supplies and equipment for the department.
• Supervise, train and evaluate purchasing staff.
• Prepare bid specifications and bid award documents; monitor budgets and inventory.
