Job summary

Responsibilities

• Verifies nomenclature and specifications of purchase requests.
• Processes RFQs by preparing, sending to suppliers and following up.
• Gathers commodity prices for reporting purposes.
• Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices after inventory.
• Reviews purchase orders and contracts for policy conformance.
• Works with suppliers on invoice and payment issues.
• Meets with vendors to review new products and existing orders.
• Maintains price changes with accounting for addendums.
