Job summary

i2Systems is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Agent to support our supply chain. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing components to manufacture high-quality LED lighting systems.

You will collaborate with planning, quality, marketing, sales, customer service, and production to meet customer needs efficiently and maintain healthy inventory turnover. The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and requires strong negotiation, inventory management, and supplier relationship

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing materials and negotiating terms.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure components and materials for production.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate with planning, quality, marketing, sales and production teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier performance and market trends.
