Job summary

i2G Systems in Michigan is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source, negotiate, and purchase equipment, materials, and services essential for production. The role supports uninterrupted operations and works closely with internal customers to meet project deadlines.

You will manage supplier relationships, prepare rolling twelve-month forecasts, monitor inventory, and initiate reports to communicate material status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a production-based logistical or inventory environment.
• Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase equipment, tools, raw material, packaging, parts, services and/or supplies for operation.
• Schedule delivery of materials to support the production schedule.
• Prepare twelve-month rolling forecast to key suppliers per monthly plan.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish to support the production plan.
• Coordinate with internal customers to ensure timely PO delivery and project deadlines.
• Proactively mitigate risks to material procurement commitments.
