Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience with required skills.
• Strong forecasting and MRP understanding.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a project team and work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities.
• Proficiency in SAP planning and production functionality and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate purchasing staff.
• Direct daily workflow and schedules of the department.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address disciplinary issues.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement from requisition to delivery.
• Evaluate suppliers on quality, timeliness, price.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure availability.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• May research and evaluate vendors and assist in contracting.
• May be involved in developing purchasing procedures.
