Core & Main LP is seeking a disciplined Purchasing/Inventory Analyst to sustain a proactive channel with management on purchasing and inventory decisions that impact the business. You will generate performance reports and initiate resolution plans for underperforming product lines.

The role involves evaluating daily purchasing reports, prioritizing POs, and ensuring optimal levels to maximize profit and sales. Travel is minimal and the environment supports data-driven decision making.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• May pass pre-employment assessments if applicable.
• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in a related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 2–4 years of experience in a related field.
• Certification is required in some areas.

Aufgaben

• Evaluates daily purchasing reports; prioritizes purchase orders to maximize profit and sales.
• Obtains confirmations, verifies pricing and quantities; follows up with vendors to correct issues.
• Performs all purchase transactions for assigned categories.
• Manages the Back Order Queue and Expedite Queue; keeps ship dates accurate for the field.
• Negotiates prices with vendors and seeks best pricing as appropriate.
• Leverages management input to achieve target freight levels and profitability.
• Monitors dead stock materials and aged inventory; manages inventory fills for categories.
