Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial seeks a Purchasing Specialist to support Data Center infrastructure solutions. You will prepare POs, track acknowledgments, and ensure timely goods receipt, while collaborating with planning, production, and finance teams.

Applicants should have an associate degree or 2+ years in supply chain, strong problem solving, and Lean/Six Sigma experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or 2+ years in a supply chain role.
• Commitment to positive change across the supply chain organization.
• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepares purchase orders (POs) within the system.
• Ensure POs are created before commitment and GR is performed within 3 days of delivery.
• Track order acknowledgement from suppliers and transmit approved POs.
• Identify opportunities to improve lead time, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Support accounts payable and warehouse functions with discrepancies.
