Job summary

Nokian Tyres is seeking a Buyer– Purchasing Specialist to manage the purchase-to-pay process in defined categories and to lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives. The role partners with IT, HR, and Finance to align procurement strategies and ensure supply continuity in a global manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of procurement experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Purchasing / Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in operational procurement within a global manufacturing organization.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with meticulous approach.
• Strong vendor communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase-to-pay process in nominated categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing including RFI/RFPs and supplier evaluation.
• Partner with IT, HR, Finance to align procurement strategies.
• Plan POs and delivery schedules within frame agreements.
• Analyze supplier spend and TCO to identify cost reductions.
• Monitor supplier KPI and handle invoice issues.
