Job summary

Nokian Tyres is seeking a Buyer- Purchasing Specialist in Dayton, TN. This full-time role focuses on managing the purchase-to-pay process and end-to-end sourcing, including RFI/RFP development and supplier negotiations.

You will collaborate with IT, HR, and Finance to ensure aligned procurement strategies and reliable supply. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 1–3 years in operational procurement within a global manufacturing setting, with strong MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Purchasing / Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in operational procurement within a global manufacturing organization.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in routine tasks.
• Proficient with MS-Office and ability to learn new systems.
• Professional verbal and written skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with global vendors and internal leadership.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no relocation or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Managing purchase-to-pay process in nominated categories.
• End-to-end sourcing including RFI/RFP development, supplier evaluation, and contract terms negotiation.
• Partner with IT, HR, Finance to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Plan PO and delivery schedules within frame agreements.
• Analyze supplier spend, market trends and Total Cost of Ownership to identify savings opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance and assist with KPI measurement.
