Job summary

GTI in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Purchasing Program Manager to own end-to-end sourcing for complex programs. You will translate milestones and BOM requirements into time-phased purchasing, align PO dates with the program schedule, and ensure material readiness across three commodity groups.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement or related field, strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, and ability to lead cross-functional reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in procurement, purchasing program management, materials management, or sourcing.
• Experience managing sourcing plans, POs, material shortages, and BOM-driven demand.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge including POs, BOMs, and lead times.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data reconciliation and reporting.
• Ability to translate schedules into executable procurement priorities.
• Experience leading cross-functional reviews across Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and Production.
• Strong analytical, communication, escalation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and execute the project sourcing plan across three commodity groups.
• Align sourcing, PO timing, supplier lead times, and delivery dates with the program schedule.
• Validate commitments against lead times and manage material readiness at multiple levels.
• Own on-order status and develop program-level dashboards to track shortages and recovery actions.
• Escalate material risk with clear impact and recommended actions to leadership.
• Drive BOM-to-purchase integrity and resolve duplicate demand or quantity discrepancies.
• Lead cross-functional operating reviews and coordinate with multiple functions to meet milestones.
• Apply Lean and continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve ERP discipline.
