Samsung Electronics America is seeking a senior Purchasing Planning leader to drive annual operating plans, KPI governance, and cost-reduction initiatives across the organization. The role coordinates with HQ and local teams to align data standards, master data governance, and N-ERP improvements.

The position oversees planning staff, manages budgeting and workload allocations, and guides localization strategies while monitoring raw-material trends and supplier risk. On-site role in the U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of supply chain/purchasing experience.
• 5+ years of purchasing experience at senior level preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for planning and reporting.
• Knowledge of BOM structures and weekly material requirements.

Aufgaben

• Lead planning staff and sector leads; assign workloads and ensure deadlines.
• Establish annual purchasing operating plans and cost-reduction goals.
• Define group KPIs, data owners, and reporting calendars; track savings and KPIs.
• Coordinate monthly purchasing close with Accounting/Finance and budget consolidation.
• Develop localization and dual-source strategies; monitor supplier markets and risks.
• Governing master data and N-ERP improvements; drive process governance and trainings.
