Trump International Hotel Las Vegas is seeking a Purchasing Manager in Las Vegas, NV. You will oversee Purchasing & Shipping/Receiving, perform strategic sourcing for F&B, Rooms, FF&E, and OS&E, and forecast capital projects to meet company goals.

You will supervise staff, manage bids, negotiate supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with SNHD food handling records. The role requires strong procurement knowledge and supervisory capabilities in a hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must have full knowledge of purchasing procedures and printing products.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills to order items and track deliveries.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently in order to complete forms, inventories, read billings, invoices and communicate with co-workers and purveyors.
• Ability to apply basic supervisory skills to plan, organize and direct team members as necessary.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use electronic ordering systems.
• Ability to operate office machines including calculator/10-key, copier, fax, telephone.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and manage day to day operations for the Purchasing & Shipping/Receiving departments.
• Procurement of goods and services through appropriate bidding processes to achieve optimum price value while maintaining quality.
• Research and/or facilitate product line research.
• Provide department heads with recommendations and guidance regarding new ideas and products for cost control.
• Maintain purchasing databases and develop programs to increase savings and quality.
• Assist in menu/product sourcing and costing within budget targets.
• Negotiate vendor relationships and set up new accounts.
• Maintain food handling records as required by the SNHD.
• Perform other purchasing tasks and projects as required by management.
• Communicate with Outlet Managers/Departments regarding purchases.”
• Negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Interview, select, train and supervise staff including cost control and discipline.
