Oil Filtration Systems, Inc. seeks a meticulous Purchasing & Materials Planner to source materials, plan inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to support production schedules. The role balances day-to-day procurement with strategic sourcing to reduce costs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing supply chain, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. This is a full-time on-site position in Texas with strong collaboration across Production and Quality teams.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred in supply chain, operations, or business.
• APICS CSCP, ISM CPSM, CPM, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3+ years in purchasing, procurement, material planning, inventory control, or manufacturing supply chain.

Mansioni

• Procure materials, components, and services to support production and customer requirements while meeting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives.
• Review material requirements, issue and maintain purchase orders, and expedite deliveries based on production schedules and supplier lead times.
• Obtain and analyze supplier quotations and make purchasing recommendations based on price, quality, lead time, and total cost.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers; develop supplier agreements and terms.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs via bidding, negotiation, and supplier consolidation.
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, responsiveness, and lead-time; conduct performance reviews.
• Review demand, forecasts, sales orders, and inventory to plan material availability and address shortages.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy; support inventory analysis and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Product Management on priorities and supplier transitions.
