Job summary

Grefort Electrical Inc. seeks a seasoned Purchasing Manager to lead procurement for materials, components, and production equipment for reactors and transformers at the new Raleigh facility.

In a critical ground-up role, you will establish local and international supply chains, run RFQs, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery while aligning with internal QA, R&D, and production teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing procurement and supply chain management.
• Experience building a supply chain from the ground up in a startup environment (preferred).
• Familiar with transformer and reactor materials and procurement methods.
• Knowledge of North American tariff rules and US supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Establish local and international supply chain networks for the new facility.
• Procure materials, components, and production equipment for reactors and transformers.
• Execute RFQs, price comparisons, negotiate with suppliers, and finalize contracts.
• Maintain supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with QA, R&D, production and quality for material availability.
