Job summary

ERMCO/GridBridge in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, PowerElectronics, to lead manufacturing plans for new power electronics products, from development to pilot builds and early production.

You will build and guide a team, collaborate with product development, quality, supply chain, and external electronics contract manufacturers to ensure safe, high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
8+ years in manufacturing/engineering roles.
3+ years leading engineers/technicians or cross-functional teams.
Experience with power electronics or data center power systems.
Experience with electronics contract manufacturers or outsourced partners.
Strong grasp of process development, test, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage manufacturing engineers and technicians for power electronics builds, test, and pilot activities.
Develop manufacturing plans, process flows, assembly methods, test approaches, tooling, and production readiness.
Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team; promote safety and quality.
Collaborate with product development to understand design, risks, and manufacturing considerations.
Coordinate prototype, pilot, and early production with ECMs and internal teams.
Drive DFA/DFM/DFT feedback to improve manufacturability and testability.
Support customer pilots, site deployment readiness, and field feedback resolution.
Partner with Quality/Supply Chain/Operations to resolve issues.
Track KPIs like schedule adherence, first-pass yield, cycle time.
