Job summary

LuxView is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement of materials and supplies in Salt Lake City. You will forecast needs, manage purchase orders, and cultivate supplier relationships while driving improvements in purchasing processes.

In this role, you will collaborate with production, sales, and product development to align on demand, monitor inventory, and implement corrective actions when needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience forecasting material requirements and planning purchases.
• Strong ability to build and manage supplier relationships.
• Experience negotiating contracts and evaluating supplier performance.
• Proven track record in inventory control and reducing stockouts.
• Ability to work with multiple departments to align on requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for materials and supplies.
• Forecast material requirements using inventory tools and ensure timely replenishment.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance with corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and product development to align on demand.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and communicate requirements and status.
• Monitor offsite inventory to minimize stockouts and excess stock.
• Regularly audit inventory for accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Track and report KPIs to support continuous improvement.
