Job summary

Levy operates all the food and beverage at Iowa State University athletic events in Ames, seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement, supplier relations, and cost control for stadiums and venues.

You will manage inventory, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support month-end reporting while driving sales goals. A business/supply chain degree is preferred and strong computer literacy is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality or similar is preferred
• High level of computer literacy
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Curiosity for new technology and industry trends

Responsibilities

• Understands procurement needs and supplier offerings
• Ensures safety and sanitation practices in purchasing
• Supports achieving daily cost goals and sales targets
• Assists in month-end closing and reporting
• Manages inventory integrity and product dating
• Interviews, hires, trains, and develops team members per Levy guidelines
