Job summary

RiseMe in Ocala, FL is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead the purchasing team and ensure timely, cost‑effective procurement to support production and operations.

You will establish supplier relationships, monitor performance, negotiate terms, and align purchasing with ERP planning and inventory control to meet budget and quality targets. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality and Accounting to resolve issues and drive procurement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Purchasing, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor Kinetic.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the purchasing team, including buyers and purchasing support personnel.
• Establish purchasing priorities and ensure materials are purchased to production requirements and inventory objectives.
• Review and manage open purchase orders, past-due orders, due dates, confirmations, and supplier commitments.
• Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, pricing, and service.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, MOQs, and freight terms within company guidelines.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and alternate sourcing to improve terms.
• Maintain ERP data and purchasing procedures for accuracy and control.
• Support budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting activities.
