Job summary

ITW Evercoat in Cincinnati seeks a Purchasing Manager to learn, manage, and drive results in purchasing, applying ITW toolbox strategies and leading continuous improvement across internal ops and with key suppliers.

Responsibilities include procuring raw materials and purchased complete products, managing supplier relationships for timely and cost‑effective fulfillment of the annual sales plan, and coordinating with sales, marketing, and supply chain to support MRD and promotional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of purchasing experience.
• Experience with vendor management and inventory planning.
• ERP experience, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).

Responsibilities

• Lead raw material and purchased complete purchasing to support annual sales plan.
• Control component inventories to ensure availability, timeliness and quality for production schedules.
• Negotiate with suppliers to establish competitive contracts and positive vendor relations.
• Monitor materials costs and supplier performance; support MRD and cost roll in JD Edwards.
