Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead division sourcing, partner onboarding, and cost optimization for residential construction across Austin/San Antonio. The role focuses on securing top-quality trade partners, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate will bring deep sourcing experience in homebuilding, strong analytics, and proven negotiation skills to drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality throughout the project

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years sourcing and managing supplier/trade partner relationships.
• Superior analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Significant knowledge of the residential homebuilding industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and execute division sourcing agreements for designated spend categories.
• Source, contract, negotiate, and onboard new trade partners with required insurance to meet production demands.
• Travel to sites to assess and communicate trade partner performance to the Director of Purchasing.
• Implement material sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain flow for designated categories.
• Negotiate and validate pricing and legitimacy of EPOs.
