ETE REMAN is the largest independent aftermarket automatic transmission remanufacturer in the United States, based in Milwaukee, WI. We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead day-to-day purchasing operations, supervise a team of Buyers, and ensure timely procurement to support remanufacturing production.

The role emphasizes strategic execution with inventory replenishment alignment, supplier performance monitoring, and ERP parameter adherence.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing/automotive.
2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong working knowledge of ERP purchasing modules; Syteline experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to interpret purchasing reports and supplier metrics.
Solid understanding of PO management, lead times, and MOQ structures.

Responsibilities

Lead safety and promote a safety-first workplace in purchasing operations.
Supervise, coach, and develop Buyers and related staff; set clear performance expectations.
Oversee day-to-day purchase order creation, management, and closure per replenishment policies.
Ensure purchase orders are accurate and timely to support production schedules.
Monitor open order reports, expedite deliveries, and resolve supply disruptions as needed.
Maintain purchasing master data in Syteline ERP and supplier information.
Provide regular reporting on purchasing activity, open orders, supplier performance, and KPIs.
