Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Purchasing Agent to coordinate timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services for manufacturing operations.

You will work with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Production Scheduling, Sourcing and suppliers to maintain cost-effective supply chain performance, manage SAP purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance to meet internal and external deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years of purchasing or related experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders and procurement records in SAP.
• Procure goods and services to meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Prepare and execute purchase orders in SAP.
• Monitor delivery schedules with suppliers and critical deliveries.
• Maintain purchasing data and set stocking levels.
• Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues with internal teams.
• Approve invoice pricing and quantities.
